Marek Kando ~ Smooth Straight Billiard

Regular price $ 160.00
A modern take on the classic straight billiard but with some very nice Danish elements to it.
Beautiful, straight grain on most of the bowl, with a little bit of cross grain on one side and some birdseye on the bottom.  The rim has a subtle dome shape, in the tradition of some of the best Danish makers of the past, which is a nice touch.
The vulcanite saddle stem is perfectly proportioned, with an integral tenon and precise button work, and like all of Marek's pipes, very well balanced and easy to clench.  The stem/shank junction is very well fitted, with no light leaks.
The draw is nice and open and the engineering makes for a great smoking machine.  One of the prettiest takes I've seen on a billiard, but, like many of Marek's pipes (I own 7, myself) no doubt a workhorse. Comes with original pipe sock.
